Finally--I found my blog!

Last January I decided to start a blog. Everyone told me how easy it was--that even a computer-challenged person such as I could do this. I conducted a completely scientific survey of what blog site most people used (I scanned the sidebars of everyone's blog I knew) and Blogger came out the undisputed winner. Being a diehard hotmail user, I had to sign up for a gmail account, and then I went to Blogger and started designing my new blog. I could hardly wait to launch my new baby! I went to bed that night dreaming of new and exciting layouts. The next morning I was eager to get to my computer and work on my blog, but when I went to sign in, everything was in Chinese characters!! I was momentarily taken aback, but sure I could right this error easily; after all, I had been studying characters, and could at least recognize the characters for yingwen (english). But after repeated attempts to sign in, I couldn't figure it out! Discouraged, I gave up. Then life got busy--Zach's Eagle project, graduation, Sarah's visit to Taiwan, moving to Shenzhen, home for the summer. Anyway, the blog got lost in the shuffle.

With the New Year, I resurrected my desire for a blog and decided to try again. I once again had the same issue--couldn't get in because it all came up in Chinese. But today, while figuring out how to sign into my daughter's blog, low and behold--my dashboard appeared! Voila--my blog is born!!
